History

Sonji graduated from LVN school in 2009. She began her long-term care career in 2010 where she worked as a charge nurse and was later promoted to Unit Manager. 

Sonji has worked in long-term care for over 5 years. Sonji began her CNA teaching career in 2012 for Sam Houston state University. Sonji was a CNA instructor for 6 years. 

In 2013 Sonji began working as a home health care nurse for Elderly patients. While working as a nurse in the long-term care setting/home health care setting, Sonji realized that she had a passion/concern for the well-being of her elderly patients. The goal then was to train effective/efficient CNAs, that focused on holistic care for the elderly patient.

 Sonji has recently graduated from the RN program
